CORE Protective Solutions
The Oklahoma Shooting Academy is a product of Core Protective Solutions and Core Combatives. Based on the same foundations of advancement used in Martial Arts, we offer a way to track your progress as a student of defensive firearms. With our program of consistent coaching, we will help you increase your proficiency in defensive firearms with continuous feedback and tracking using our programs. Our courses of instruction include but not limited to:
- Basic Firearm Safety
- Basic Firearm Manipulation
- Defensive Mindset
- Combatives While Concealed
- Concealed Carry Concepts and Certification
- Drawing the Firearm
- Basic Trauma Medical - Stop the Bleed
- Weapons Retention
- Defensive Handgun in Close Contact
- Home Defense Techniques Using a Firearm
- Fundamentals of Marksmanship
Adjunct instructors include former and active military, Law Enforcement. Each Instructor is certified by the NRA and or Law Enforcement with over fifty years of combined experience.
Classes are one (1) hour dry fire training classes each Thursday night from 6 pm - 7 pm at Core Martial Arts located at 1103 S. Ranchwood Blvd, Yukon.
